What’s next?
When I woke up Wednesday morning, August 25th, only 2 things have changed about my life – I am not currently, “Tim Curtis, Democrat Candidate for Congress” and I have thousands of new friends and acquaintances! Beyond that, I am still Tim Curtis, father, friend, “Poppy,” business owner, struggling golfer; terrible comedian, etc. I am blessed and for that I am grateful. Nothing else about my life has changed. That is neither good nor bad.
There are other things that also HAVE NOT CHANGED. People of the 11th Congressional District -
still don’t have jobs;
still don’t have healthcare as promised by Congress;
and STILL DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO THEIR REPRESENTATIVE!
That is both sad and tragic. Congress and the incumbent have failed us as a community and as a Nation.
I have described our effort as a track-meet. In track, many athletes are multi-sport competitors. Between various events in a track meet the competitors must take a brief respite to recover and regroup. That’s exactly what the Curtis for Congress Campaign is doing now. I will not quit! The prize to the winner of the track-meet is the very representative democracy this Nation is founded on.
I am eternally grateful to those who have contributed mightily to our effort. I look forward to “partnering” with you again. Stayed tuned for future announcements about how you can be involved in effecting REAL CHANGE in the future.
